Children and the Internet Essay

Think about how much time your children spend on electronics and what it could be doing to their health and intelligence. Instead of reading books and learning from experiences they’re glued to a screen that’s leaving them unable to react in real life. â€Å"Hands on experiences are vital to the developing of conversation and cause-effect relationships† (Negative effects of Internet usage on Child Development). Internet Influence on kids is becoming a problem with prolonged exposure to technology ending in Physical, Cognitive and Social Maladaptation. It is important to realize that a child’s body is just beginning to develop and that a sedentary lifestyle can lead to obesity and health issues. â€Å"Computer use can cause carpal tunnel and eye strain.† (Physical and Social Effects of Internet Use in Children). Leaving children with health issues alone on the computer is even worse and unexpected popups can cause a lot of problems. â€Å"It can also cause seizures if there are rapidly flashing games and websites† (). There are so many ways children can get ahold of the internet: computers, smartphones, iPads, iPods, gaming consoles, etc. It’s leaving them feeling instantly gratified and entitled to things that aren’t theirs that causes lots of trouble as they get older. In addition to physical effects there are cognitive ones as well. â€Å"Easy access to internet may become less able to separate fact from fiction. Internet has no filter and no peer review so anyone can publish what they want. Informal communication common to chat rooms is a worry and can carry over to their academics† (Physical and social effects of Internet use in children). The multitasking that many children engage in while online reduces attention span, making intense concentration on a single task more difficult. â€Å"Rapid nature of internet stimulation alters the way children see the world, and it creates boredom.† (Physical and Social effects of internet use in children). Information posted on the Internet is lawless. Young children depend on adults to validate what they see, hear and feel. The information on the Internet is uncontrolled and there is no way to check its reliability, and further, often no practical way to ensure referability.  Ã¢â‚¬Å"Increased use among children may result in feelings of loneliness and depression† (Physical and Social effects of Internet use in children). â€Å"Also results in less time spent with family and friends or working on hobbies† (Physical and Social effects of Internet use in children). Another key point refers to the social side of the effects of the internet. â€Å"Violent images, foul language and a lack of social rules common to the internet don’t help a child succeed in the real world† (Physical and Social effects of Internet use in children). â€Å"Instead of hanging out with friends they show a trend that a computer is more important† (The influence of the Internet on our younger generation). â€Å"Causes desensitization to violence. Both violent and pornographic imagery can fundamentally alter a developing child’s perspective of the world† (Negative effects of Internet usage on child development). â€Å"They lose the skills and patience to conduct social relattions in the corporeal world† (Physical and Social effects of Internet use in children).

Integrative Approaches to Psychology and Christianity Essay

Education and experience in the secular set-up or the what we call here as Athens wisdom believes differently from the biblical standpoint in whatever aspect of life. Psychology in general, though embraces somewhat a neutral position according to some proponents, is not able to do justice to a balanced view of human behavior and most if not all of the individual’s activities. Indeed, Author Dr. Entwistle (2004) argues about the general tendency to dichotomize or what he said as â€Å"to buy into the dichotomy between the ‘sacred’ and the ‘secular’ which is what seeing Jerusalem and Athens as â€Å"mutually exclusive categories. † From the outset I would like to say my piece regarding the point where Dr. Entwistle is coming from without sounding arrogant in the same vein. He has mentioned a lot about presupposition while at the same time sounds like he doesn’t anything about presuppositions. When he separated â€Å"Jerusalem† and the â€Å"Church† in his book, I immediately detected his lack of background in the realm of biblical theology. At the heart of Christianity or the Church that Dr. Entwistle is referring to, there is no such dichotomy. The Church in every dimension of it (or Christianity as we aptly put it) does not do any separation unless what Christ has separated. Meaning, our premise or presupposition starts with the fact that the Church and Christian spirituality or faith if one would put it simply, stands on the Judaeo-Christian context not a choice between â€Å"Jerusalem† or â€Å"Church. † The fundamental difference lies in the great divide between Christianity and Athens or secular wisdom. It is only between the secular wisdom and biblical knowledge does the Bible place a dichotomy. Let me state what led me to this view: it is because, theologically speaking, biblical authors explicitly wrote in their letters from the Old to the New Testament Scriptures that God has His own laws and statutes through which life in general must be regulated. The same knowledge explicitly and implicitly runs through the fabric of the whole Scripture (Old & New), which means that the presuppositions of all of the Biblical authors, all fall into one primary presupposition: that there is one God, and that this One God has revealed Himself through His laws and statutes. Without the laws of God, man alone, with all of his learning, if they are all apart from the revelation of God, is mere natural or secular. This is the reason that every man ought to know these laws or statutes or biblical principles and only then can he apply these into all aspects of his secular life. This could have been what Dr. Entwistle intended to mean. One cannot come from the opposite side as what Dr. Entwistle had done instead as he hinged the argument from secular to the theological; though he tried to get his ideas from the likes of great men like Dr. A. W. Tozer and others. All those people’s arguments come from biblical presupposition: they have thorough knowledge of the Scriptures that they applied to various realms of life which in turn caused them to spur their readers to do the same. Trying to oppose the standpoint of apologist Tertullian, Dr. Entwistle seemingly misunderstands all of their positions, thus complicating what could have been an uncomplicated and unified stream of thought. The main contributing factors that led me to this viewpoint are my personal study of the Bible, and some works (massive) of Biblical scholars. The following discussion of renewing the mind then is a by-product of my own presupposition derived from the influence of these Biblical Scholars which include contemporary theologians like Dr. Vincent Cheung, Dr. Philip Johnson, and the father of Presuppositional apologetics Cornelius Van Til, to name a few. This thorough discussion of counsel of the wicked (representing secular or Athens wisdom) and the discriminative counsel which embraces all of Judaeo- Christian principles (as all contained in the Bible) captures best the essence of faith-spirituality molded from this basic presupposition. The dichotomy is between what the Bible says all throughout as the Wicked or ungodly counsel versus that of Godly wisdom. Dr. Entwistle unintentionally pursued a trichotomous delineation of Judeao-Christian theological thinking from secular. This is not proper. Discussion Christians know that a big portion of God’s work in their lives is concentrated on renewal of the mind. Our born again experience signaled the beginning of a new life for us rather than, as have been used by many figuratively, the end of our life’s quest for truth. It is the start of an individual’s real life in that it is the time when a person experiences the quickening work of God through His Spirit (Ephesians 2:1-7). Let’s think for a while our past life as portrayed to us in the Bible: 1. ) We were once dead spiritually – in trespasses and sins; 2. ) We once walked (lived our lives) according to the course of this world; 3. ) We once lived our lives (knowingly or unknowingly) controlled by Satan; 4. ) We once behaved in a way that in everything we do, we only fulfill our desires and what – in our minds – looked good and pleasant. Now, knowing that we are naturally (without the saving power of God) unresponsive to God and fully responsive to the things that are not of God, we recognize our great need to be renewed or our minds oriented to the things of God – things that really matter to Him and in this life (Romans 12:1-2). I. Discriminative Counsel. 1. ) Biblical/Godly Counsel – Its Necessity. There is a trend being proliferated in the area of guidance or direction in one’s life. The premise, if looked at the surface, seems to be sound and Biblical. It is somehow taken from the Bible. They are from the book of Proverbs. â€Å"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. † – Proverbs 11:14. â€Å"Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors they are established. †Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Proverbs 15:22. These verses, however, when balanced with other portions of the Scripture, do not say that believers should heed suggestions from others without discrimination. Let’s take for example Psalms 1:1-6. â€Å"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, or sin- ners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. † – It says here that the â€Å"blessed man† is he whose delight is in â€Å"the law of the Lord. † – He meditates on it â€Å"day and night† (v. 2). What the Bible calls as â€Å"blessed† are not those who just swallow every information or trends who happen to be around. The blessed man’s â€Å"delight† is in the law of the Lord, and his pleasure to God’s law/word is made evident in his â€Å"meditating† on it â€Å"day and night. † â€Å"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. † – Psalms 1:1-2. On the other hand, this is also a warning. A warning to those who are not careful and would let down their guard with regards to their upholding the habit of meditating or checking everything with the teachings of the Scriptures. When someone starts to entertain the seemingly harmless conventional â€Å"advices† of the world without allowing the Bible (God’s Word) to filter those opinions/suggestions, the lurking danger sets in and the undiscerning is on his way to the wrong direction for he has already given thought to â€Å"ungodly counsel. † He entertained and has given a benefit of the doubt to counsel other than God’s counsel. This is a classic case of God’s word versus Satan’s lies. The enemy succeeded in tempting the first couple – Adam and Eve. â€Å"Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, â€Å"Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. † – Genesis 2:15-17. Going back to our immediate text in Psalms 1:1, let’s try to divide its wordings in three divisions and see what does it say? It says: â€Å"Blessed is the man who does not (1) walk in the counsel of the wicked (2) stand in the way of sinners (3) sit in the seat of mockers. These three expressions are actually three stages of wickedness, or three steps towards spiritual deterioration. They illustrate the progressive stages of wickedness into which one who strays from God enters. According to the Word of God, this is what will happen to people who stray from the sound teachings of the Scriptures – they will go from bad to worse. And note that, with each stage, the ungodly (anybody who ventures on this path is called â€Å"ungodly†) becomes more resolute and his hostility against the counsel of the inspired scriptures and righteousness intensifies (Cheung, 2007).

Admission to the USC Undergraduate Program

This sport taught me the importance of concentrating on what we do. It also taught me prudence and helped me to achieve a calm mind. I decided to interact more with the world that I live in. Hence, I started to study the various changes taking place in the world. In this study, I came to realize that the multinational corporations had brought about the process of globalization. This process was affecting the whole world and even the US and the European Union had come under its influence. Some of the Asian countries like India and China have been showing extraordinary growth in their economies. These economies were developing at a greater pace than that of any other country. I wanted to participate in these astonishing developments. In order to do so, I made several enquiries and went through the syllabus offered by a number of colleges. My intention was to obtain a thorough knowledge regarding globalization and the economic success of some of the Asian countries. In the course of my search, I found out about the University of Southern California, which had been founded in 1880. This university is a private university, which is the best for research. It has several campuses that are famous their academic excellence (About USC). However, in addition to academic excellence, it also promotes community service programs. This work has been praised widely and its alumni are famous, not only for their academic excellence but also for their contribution to society. Its financial independence ensures that it remains unaffected by governmental policies and political interference (About USC). These facts made me very much interested in pursuing an MBA program in this university. Newton Part My parents left Armenia in the 1970’s, whilst it was under Soviet Rule. Their new home in the US was very hospitable to them. However, they could not attend college, because of their financial commitments. Most of their waking hours were spent in earning sufficient money to meet their expenses. They were always aware of this drawback in their life. As a result, they used to tell me repeatedly, to take my studies seriously. My performance at school was slightly above average. Therefore, I obtained an average high school diploma. My parents were very disappointed with my mediocre performance in school. They told me that I had to improve my performance. One day, while alone with my thoughts, I started thinking about what had happened to my performance in school. I am very good at logical analysis. Therefore, I thought for a long time and realized that if I did not study with greater diligence, I would end up like my parents. The choice before me was to either work hard at my studies or get a very good job or to obtain an ordinary degree and work very hard for the rest of my life, for poor wages. This was a very thought, so I decided to become a very good student in college. On another occasion, during this period, I came across a spider attempting to spin a web. It would try to attach a strand, which would break off. Nevertheless, the spider did not stop its efforts; it patiently and with the same amount of effort, made another attempt. Finally, it succeeded in its hard work. Like Robert Bruce of England, I too realized the value of perseverance. I understood that even if some topic in my studies was difficult to understand, I should keep on trying to understand it. There was another factor that had a strong influence on my attitude towards life. I have a cousin named, Haroutoun Aharonian. He was very good at studies in high school and college. After that he pursued a graduate program in the University of Southern California. He became very good at analyzing stock markets, due to the MBA program that he attended in the University of Southern California’s   Marshall School of Business. One of the largest stock broking firms in Los Angeles has appointed him to a very important post, in their company. The sole reason for this success was the very good teaching standard of that college. This incident taught me that I had to work hard and develop an interest in my chosen field of study. On studying his success story, I decided to follow in his footsteps, and apply for the MBA program in the Marshall School of Business. I want to become an expert in Finance and Business Economics and this school imparts the necessary training and knowledge to achieve this goal. I would also like to keep the choice of joining the Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics. The USC Marshall School of Business offers the latest world class instruction in accounting, finance, entrepreneurship and international business studies (About The Marshall School of Business, 2007). The world has become smaller due to globalization; moreover, some Asian countries are showing highly rapid economic development. Traditional management techniques cannot address these phenomena. It is a course like that provided by the Marshall School of Business, which can properly describe these issues. This is the principal reason for my seeking a transfer to the Marshall School of Business. References About The Marshall School of Business. (2007). ''THE 'DIVORCE' OF OWNERSHIP FROM CONTROL FROM 1900 RECALIBRATING Essay

''THE 'DIVORCE' OF OWNERSHIP FROM CONTROL FROM 1900 RECALIBRATING IMAGINED GLOBAL TRENDS'' - Essay Example In this paper we first summarize the Leslie Hannah's article titled "the 'divorce' of ownership from control from 1900: re-calibrating imagined global trends" and then discuss 'why this topic considered to be significant' comprehensively. In this paper entitled "The 'divorce' of ownership from control from 1900: re-calibrating imagined global trends", Leslie Hannah describes the US businesses - and, in some respects, Europeans as well - were subjugated by plutocratic family ownerships, and these States had very small metropolitan stock exchanges, compared to the size of their economic systems. Britain and France illustrated the highest levels of 'divorce of ownership' from power, and (with Belgium and the Netherlands) had the well-built equality culture. However South Africa, Egypt, India and Austria had partially more access to metropolitan equity assets as similar to Italy and Japan. It seems that Australia and Canada were not underprivileged, when it comes to their market growth, with respect to the United States of America. None of this packed, simply in any case, for their upcoming economic expansion: divorcing the ownership from power caused as many troubles as it determined to; ownerships had several other cha nnels out of which to flow; and the assets that practice stock exchanges were not essentially the most fruitful one. He further suggests that this observation is relied on too narrow a conception of the forms which ownership takes and on too straightforward a hypothesis of the connection between ownership and business performance. And further investigates why the point of views instinctive to generations hold so much opposing visions from those of recent ones, by investigating why and where the family ownership was divorced from 'influence' on the verge of the twentieth century. It will be definitely confirmed that France and Britain escorted in the 'disintegration' of ownership from power, most particularly in the sectors of railway and financial systems. Yet in the industrialized zone, American and German industries in nineteenth century or onwards were not evidently less family-owned by board members (in most cases, then, founding industrialists or inheriting family units) than in France; family ownership was in all probability rather common in Britain. The Importance of this topic During the early stages of industrialization in nineteenth century, personal or family ownership have usually been seen as a resourceful and flourishing capitalist response to marketplace breakdowns (Colli 2001, pg. 160). Yet in the twentieth century, small-sized personal businesses remained statistically large in some of the European countries. Moreover, the continued influence of sweeping family and personal ownerships, in spite of an understood crossroads of current economies towards 'commercially free enterprises', implies that personal free enterprises continue to be a significant issue at the dawn of the twenty first century. Economists were generally more troubled with marketplace structures and the significance of 'struggling' in competent supplying share than with worrying about who owned what (Colli 2001, pg. 166). However, with increasing interest in open marketplace economics, particularly in the last few years, 'family ownership' has grown to be a subject in its own right. The present government systems clearly consider that varying ownerships from public

Reaction Essay - Lab Report Example He argues that reconstructing the informants’ perceptions of the fieldworker as, variously, academic hustler, ‘nigger just like us’ and ‘Arab’ – can aid the researcher in determining patterns of structure and meaning among the individual, group, and/or community under study. He intended his article therefore to reflect on informants’ construction of his subsumption within a field of social relations in which the ‘hustle’ was an overriding organizing standard. To compare this article now with another article entitled â€Å"Personal Safety in Dangerous Places† by Terry Williams is to see first what the latter author is saying about. Williams introduced his work by saying that personal safety during fieldwork is seldom addressed directly in the literature. He narrated a fact drawn from his many prior yeas of ethnographic research and from field experience while studying crack distributors in New York City, where the authors provided a variety of strategies by which ethnographic research can be safely conducted in dangerous settings. He explained that by protecting an appropriated demeanor, ethnographers can seek others for protector and locator roles, routinely create a safety zone in the field, and establish compatible field roles with potential subjects. Terry Williams (1992) therefore intended of his article to provide strategies for avoiding or handling sexual approaches, common law crimes, fights, drive-by shootings, and contact s with the police. He found out that when integrated with other standard qualitative methods, ethnographic strategies help to ensure that no physical harm comes to the field-worker and staff members. He added that the presence of researchers may actually reduce (and not increase) potential and actual violence among crack distributors/abusers or others present in the field setting (Williams, 1992). In short what he was saying was

Australian contract law Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

Australian contract law - Essay Example Such ways of making a contract can be; signing a document, clicking ‘agree’ button on the web as well as making an agreement over the phone. Contract law constitutes any regulations or laws directed inline of enforcing certain promises. The contract law in Australia is mainly regulated by the common law. However, more states are supplementing the common law of contract specifically in connection with the consumer protection (Goldring, 1998). What makes a valid enforceable contract between parties? A contract is considered valid if there is the provision of a written or signed agreement by both parties. It has been stated that the two companies entered into a written service contract which meant that, the Big industry decided to make an offer to Pat while on the other side, Pat accepted the offer and anticipated to arrive at a significant work from Big industry in future. The enforcement is valid due to the way that is has been laid down in a written document. The contrac t agreement had involved both parties which must have signed a document to establish an offer from one side and at the same time an acceptance of the other party. There is therefore a valid enforceable contract between Pat and Big Industry. Pat, a computer software consultant was expected to write four computer programs which were made to be used by the Big Industry in controlling its automated manufacturing machines. More terms within the contract agreement was that the Big industry was supposed to pay twenty five thousand dollars to Pat on completion of the work. Payments would only be made after the completion of the work on contract. Another term provided within the contract was that the written computer programs be delivered to the Big industry no later than may first. The contract agreement did not seem to provide any chance for delivery after the agreed date, the first day of May. No modifications of the contract would be valid unless it was in writing and signed by both the Big industry and Pat. The April fifteen phone call between Pat and Hillary brought in much effect on the contract terms. According to the contract agreement made on first April, Pat accepted to write the total number of the computer programs and gave much expectation for the Big Industry that before the first day of May, all programs would be ready for use. The phone call was meant to make a change in the agreement that Pat would not deliver the contract as it was agreed on April first. Pat said that he was having a problem with the programs three and one and that he would not be able to deliver them until at least eight may or may be sometimes closer to fifteenth of May. Pat went ahead to mention that he had some doubts that he would be able to write program number four at all since the Big Industry’s computer hardware was nearly obsolete. He communicated that he would only deliver program number one and two by the first day of May. This phone call demonstrated that change w ould occur in the terms agreed as per the contract. The contract terms were that Pat would write four programs by May first and that the total payment would only be made after the delivery. Pat on the phone call notified that he would only deliver two written programs and that one would come late while the other one would not be written at all. The change in the content of delivery meant that all terms and conditions of the contract would as well change. The Big Industry would as well adjust its payments and expectations for the

However, the company is free to impose a duty on directors to attend board meetings iii.The directors may delegate work to some official whose past record may not cast doubts and distrust may be exonerated on negligence on the ground that he exercises due care.this is illustrated in Dovey vs. Cory where it was held that the director was not liable for negligence as he had failed to verify company accounts. It, therefore, implies that the directors can promote the success of the company when he owes the duty of care avoiding negligence. However, the employee’s mistake cannot be bound to be that of directors provided he showed that he acted in good faith. 5. An accountant is a person who prepares the financial statement of a company in line with the IFRS.the quality of information should enable the users of accounts to make accurate and transparent judgments regarding the company’s financial statement. The reports or the books of accounts, for example, the balance sheet and income statement laid in, show the true and fair view of the company at a given period of time. Therefore, on a company’s board of director needs to have an accountant so that he can communicate the economic information to the non-accountant directors for decision-making.

Students and teachers should be tested for drug use in public schools Research Paper

Students and teachers should be tested for drug use in public schools - Research Paper Example Another way of determining the importance of a study is by looking at its impact on the current theory or practice in its respective field. According to Algozzine, Daunic, and Algozzine (2010), educational practice includes conflict resolution, peer mediation, and promotion of social relationship. The issue of drug use affects all the three aspects of educational practice. Therefore, the research undertaken in this study would reveal a solution to a problem that is affecting education practice. This makes the study undertaken in the proposed research to be very significant in education practice to both the educators and the students. One of the benefits would be deciding the fate of drug testing in public schools. If the results of the research justify that we should test students and teachers for drug use in all public schools, then drug testing will be adapted in all our schools. However, if the research proves otherwise, then drug testing would be dropped even in the schools that currently use it on their students and teachers. From this research, we would identify alternatives to drug testing in fighting drug use in public schools. We would also be able to identify methods of testing drug use among students that are currently in use, their merits, and demerits. This would help various education stakeholders in their efforts of improving education in our public schools. As indicated above, this study would be very significant to the whole public school fraternity and other education stakeholders.

Spanish, British, and French colonial experiences Essay Example for Free

Spanish, British, and French colonial experiences Essay For the Spanish, their motives were economic and religion. They wanted to Christianize Natives. They were mostly located in South America, Central America, and the West Indies. The British motives were only economical. They were located in North America and in the West Indies. The only type of people that were allowed to be with the Spanish were mostly only Catholics or you had to be from a noble family and you had to be homogenous. Anyone could be with the British. There were diverse races and the people were in Religious and Ethnic groups. The Spanish finances were based on Public/Crown Financed terms and for the British it was Joint Stock/Private terms. The Spanish had relations with exploited natives and they also believed in intermarrying with natives. They also believed in enslavement and they were associated with the Mestivo and they wanted to Christianize everyone. If you were not converted to Christian, you were killed. The British also had relations with exploited natives. They did not believe in intermarrying or enslavement. They did believe in Separation and Removal to the West. The Spanish government was highly centralized. There was less self-government. Governors were representatives of Crown- Viceroys There were no democratic traditions. The British government was decentralized and there was much more self-government. The British simply neglected to enforce or regulate. Democracys seeds are planted. Economically, many Spanish had tried exploiting and going home-they did not posses the mind set to develop as much as North Americans. Government regulation is in a form of regulation of emigration and trade. For the British, most settlers, stayed in New World and invested. The government stayed clear of economic activity for most part.

World History Essay Example for Free

World History Essay Two civilizations have been hailed as being important to the history of the world and are usually referred to as the cradle of mankind. These are the Mesopotamia and the Ancient Egypt. The development of the city states of Mesopotamia and the stability of the ancient Egypt has been seen driven by geographic factors. Indeed the origin of these civilizations is almost similar; however due to geography, they differ in a number of factors both in the development and in their stability. It is this geographic aspect of their differences that will be the focus of this paper.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Both these civilizations owe their origin to the presence of important water mass, their people survived on the abundant resources that the rivers provided.   Egyptian civilization would have been non existent had there not been a river Nile. It is this river that owes the survival of the livelihood of the Egyptians and a culture that was carried forth from one generation to another. Mesopotamia city states on the other hand were supported by two rivers. Indeed Mesopotamia is a Greek word that means ‘the land between two rivers’, these are Tigris and Euphrates lying in what is currently referred to as Iraq. Inadvertently, it is important to mention that similarities can be drawn on how these two civilizations were able to survive. Parallels can be drawn on the flooding patterns of the Nile, Tigris and Euphrates. River Nile used to flood once in a year bringing with it huge deposits of rich silt, leaving the surrounding areas well irrigated, â€Å"when the waters receded, they left behind deposits of black silt that were rich with vitamins and minerals.† (M. Solodky , 2006, 5) Euphrates and Tigris had similar behaviors only that they were largely unpredictable leaving dead trails and destroyed crops in their wake. The rich soil and well irrigated banks were viable for farming and agriculture. This attracted huge number of settlements and villages and small towns began cropping up along the banks (Waddel,l 2003).   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚     One difference that can be discerned in the nature of these two civilizations between Egypt and the city states of Mesopotamia lie in the population dispersion. In Mesopotamia, settlement was around the two rivers meaning that it was highly clustered compared to the highly dispersed settlement along the Nile stretch. The growth of the Egyptian civilization was facilitated by the ease of transportation along the river Nile thus expanding the civilization’s influence (David, 2004).   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   The development of the Mesopotamia civilization was greatly inhibited by one geographic factor, lacking in the advantage that the Egyptian civilization had.   Egypt had natural geographic barriers that acted as a natural line of defense allowing the civilization to thrive in isolation. The Mesopotamia city states lacked in this and they lived in constant collision with others, â€Å"the geographical features of Mesopotamia contributed to lack of stability, as there was no natural barrier to protect the city states from outside invaders.† (Deborah Preston, 2006, 11). The Mesopotamia city states could hence not stand for long and they fell under constant attack from the neighbors. On the other hand, the ancient Egyptian civilization was able to thrive well as there was no competition and the population was dispersed evenly, the existing villages and the small towns â€Å"had approximately equal access to the river and did not have to compete among themselves for water as their contemporaries in Mesopotamia were forced to do.† (Douglas Emily, 2004, 65). Trade was well coordinated and facilitated by the immense harbors along the Nile, a stark contrast to Mesopotamia.   These two civilizations though similar in their economic activities and their reliance on the rivers had different geographic characteristics that would either ensure or derail their survival (á ¸ ¤agai Gershoni, 2000). Analysis Of The Stranger, By Albert Camus Essay

Analysis Of The Stranger, By Albert Camus Essay Tone is very important to The Stranger. Albert Camus uses several examples of irony and ironic twists. For example, Meursault got involved in a fight that had nothing to do with his life. He started out by writing a letter for his neighbor, Raymond. Raymond wanted to get his ex-girlfriend back in order to punish her for what happened in the past. Meursault ended up fighting the brother to the woman, who happened to be Arab. The final outcome was Meursault had to kill the Arab man even through the writing made the readers think Raymond was going to kill the brother. Meursaults voice comes across as lacking typical emotions. The subjective tone of the author makes the reader feel sympathetic, unsympathetic, and sympathetic once again towards Meursault situation. Then within the last few pages he has a revelation that changes the way he thinks and feels. There are various literary devices used in The Stranger. Symbolism is shown in both part one and part two. Colors of the ocean, the sky, and the view of everyday life symbolize different feelings. The color red is used when Meursault is angry or when he feels lust. He described Maries red dress when he wanted her and he described the Arab at the beach right before they fought. The color green is used when hes happy. For example, The sky was green, I felt good. The crucifix is a symbol for god and sacrifice. The crucifix shows everything that he doesnt believe in. He proves this by saying He wanted to talk to me about God again, but I went up to him and made one last attempt to explain to him that I had only a little time left and I didnt want to it on God. The courtroom is a symbol for mankind as a whole. The jurors and judge is like society and how they judge Meursault and can change his life. He feels this when he says, It was then that I noticed a row of faces in front of me. The y were all looking at me; I realized that they were the jury. But I cant say what distinguished one from another. I had just one impression: I was sitting across from a row of seats on a streetcar and all these anonymous passengers were looking over the new arrival to see if they could find something funny about him. Imagery is used when describing all characters, events, and settings. Albert Camus uses colors, and subtle details that paint a mental picture. He describes Old Salamano and his dog as two beings on the planet that look similar with their old yellow flaking skin. But Meursault also describes everything around him. And I can remember the look of the church, the villagers in the street, the red geraniums on the graves, Prezs fainting fit, he crumpled up like a rag doll the tawny-red earth pattering on Mothers coffin, the bits of white roots mixed up with it; then more people, voices, the wait outside a cafe for the bus, the rumble of the engine, and my little thrill of pl easure when we entered the first brightly lit streets of Algiers, and I pictured myself going straight to bed and sleeping twelve hours at a stretch. Meursault describes everything he can see making the readers understand the novella better. Similes and metaphors are used on practically on every page of The Stranger. A simile is used when describing Raymond. He was bleeding like a pig. Meursault states about the sun, But the heat was so intense that it was just as bad standing still in the blinding stream falling from the sky. To stay or go, it amounted to the same thing. A minute later I turned back toward the beach and started walking. The sun is a metaphor for Meursaults uncomfortable feeling. Hes comparing the sun to society and how both make him feel uncomfortable and different and he doesnt like it. The Stranger by Albert Camus shows a man fighting society in his head and how he deals with it. The novella uses tone, theme, and literary devices to show this mans life and his sceptical view of the world as he discovers that he can change , only to find out that it is too late.

The Relationship Between Food Concentration, And Respiratory Activity :: essays research papers fc

The Relationship Between Food Concentration, and Respiratory Activity In this experiment different concentrations of sucrose were tested to determine which leads to the most respiratory activity in yeast. Yeast is a heterotrophic anaerobic fungus which lacks chlorophyll. Yeast is used commercially to ferment the sugars of wheat, barley, and corn to produce alcohol, and in the baking industry to raise or expand dough. Yeast or alcoholic fermentation is the anaerobic process of respiration by which sugars, such as glucose and sucrose, are converted into ethanol and carbon dioxide (CO2 ). This process is illustrated in the following equation: yeast C12H22O11 + H2O ---> 4 CH3CH2OH + 4 CO2 sucrose + water (yields) ethanol + carbon dioxide   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  In order to determine what concentration of sucrose and water leads to the most respiratory activity, ten large test tubes were set with different concentrations by the process of serial dilution. The first test tube was filled with 40 ml of 60% sucrose solution. Then, the nine remaining test tubes were serially diluted, so that the sucrose concentration ranged from 30% to 0.12%.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The hypothesis in this expriment was that the most respiratory activity would take place with 60% sucrose concentration. Since yeast fermentation requires sucrose and water, aproximately equal proportions of both would yield to the most respiratory activity.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Once the sucrose concentration was serially cut to the desired level, the experimenter added 5 ml of yeast suspension to each one of the ten test tubes.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Then, ten small test tubes were placed invertedly into each one of the large test tubes, making sure no air bubbles remained within the small tibes.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The test tubes were left 24 hours, allowing for fermentation to take place. But, no respiratory activity was detected.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  In previous experimentation, it was found that yeast fermentation did take place in different molasses concentrations. Since, molasses contains large quantities of sucrose, it was assumed that different concentrations of

George Orwells Coming Up for Air Essays -- George Orwell Coming Air E

George Orwell's Coming Up for Air George Orwell’s novel, Coming Up for Air, portrays England at two different times. The story is based around George Bowling in 1939 and his life in the suburbs of London on Ellesmere Road, where all the houses are the same. He is very cynical of the world around him and dreams of his times as a child in Lower Binfield when things were not perfect, but not yet ruined by the Great War. The vision of 1900 England versus England in 1939 creates a sharp contrast in life for George Bowling. In 1939 England is on the verge of another war, and life is impersonal, harsh, and industrial. The reality of 1939 is only accentuated by George’s trip to his childhood home of Lower Binfield, where nothing is the same as he left before the Great War. George Bowling’s first glimpse of Lower Binfield in 1939 leaves him baffled. He does not even recognize his childhood home. The small town of two thousand has turned into a city of twenty five thousand. Upon seeing his old home he exclaims, â€Å"But where was Lower Binfield? Where was the town I used to know? It might have been anywhere. All I knew it was buried somewhere in the middle of that sea of bricks.† The town is fundamentally different then when George left it. The old brewery is gone and the main manufacturing in the city was bombs for the RAF. People in the streets are preparing for impending war with Germany. They are practicing for air raids and bombers are constantly flying overhead. The marketplace where all the shops were during his childhood is now called the â€Å"Old Market†. George could not even find his way around town because of all the new streets. He recognized many of the shops but they all had different names and owners. This differenc e startles George but also shows an important difference between England in 1900 and 1939 England. Towns were becoming cities, the war had industrialized the entire nation very quickly, and a small town like Lower Binfield quickly became a manufacturing center. The city no longer housed the smaller family owned businesses that had once dominated Lower Binfield. These smaller shops had been bought out by national businesses that were expanding across England closing smaller shops in all the towns. Shopkeepers like George’s dad who refused to innovate and carry different merchandise were left to slowly die as stores like Sarazins, â€Å"big retail ... ...o have conversations with strangers. The development of England and the industrialization brought with the war has made life even more impersonal. George’s post war euphoria of getting a great job and becoming very successful was shattered by the reality that England did not have jobs for everyone and England’s familiar face had changed. Coming Up for Air illustrates the changes in England during the twentieth century. George Bowling is George Orwell’s tragic character trying to hold on to England’s fading past. What he ultimately realizes is that England has changed forever. The Great War has demolished the old simple way of life that Lower Binfield held for George when he was a child. The new England is one with cars, suburbs, trash dumps, assembly lines, and war. The quiet serenity George found when he was fishing is not available to him in 1939. He is stuck with his job, his false teeth, his nickname â€Å"fatty†, family, his house on Ellesmere Road, the impending war with Germany, and the post-war period. The reality that George lives in is the harsh, impersonal England of 1939. Bibliography Orwell, George. Coming Up for Air. New York: Harcourt Brace and Company, 1950.

friendship in a separate peace by John Knowles :: essays papers

friendship in a separate peace by John Knowles Finding out who someone really is can be a very difficult thing to do. Knowing who some one is inside and out takes time and dedication. I learned that there are a few key factors when getting to know who some one really is. Character determination of a friend can be based on three things, honesty, trust, conflicts, and how they are resolved . The book a separate peace by John Knowles deals with all of these issues in the case of friendship. You can use these three factors to see how good of a friend a person can be, and determine there true character. All through the fifteen years I’ve lived this life there has always been one redundant term told over and over. Honesty is key, and if your talking about a friendship that ‘s true. If you don’t have honesty you don’t have anything to base your relationship on. Being honest to a good friend should be subconscious, and if it’s not then I wouldn’t consider them a good friend. You shouldn’t have to struggle with a friend to be honest. In a Separate peace Finny is always honest and speaks his mind. Gene on the other hand comes across honest, but you can never really tell. He should not have told Finny that he jostled the limb on purpose if he wasn’t even sure himself. In the movie Dead Poet Society each and every group member was honest to each other, and that’s why they were the best of friends. Also, they learned to think honestly by themselves from their teacher through ways of poetry. Much like how Finny learned hones ty through sportsmanship. Without knowing if Gene is honest or not, Finny and the members of the Dead Poet Society would have made much better friends. These friends where honest, and therefore could trust each other. Trust each other to resolve conflicts and become stronger friends. Conflicts are another way to determine someones true character. When a conflict occurs you can see what they do and how they react to the situation. Like when someone is cornered, and in danger of losing their life. Those animal instincts are a great way to see who some one really is. In a separate peace Gene deals with his conflicts by not talking about them and pushing his feeling down till they are gone.

Bugatti Research

This learning time choose the company of Bugatti because research into the company’s process design and manufacturing process was done in previous classes and the team found the process that Bugatti uses to be interesting. The Bugatti name has been known made to order, high quality, fast spot cars since 1910. The original car produced by Ettore Bugatti was seen as an innovator in the design and quality of cars for that time. Today the Bugatti name, presently owned by Volkswagen, is still known for producing unique, made-to-order, high-quality automobiles. The Bugatti Company manufactures the high-performance sport car Veyron. The Veyron is available in only a few trim levels. Bugatti uses the make-to-order system to produce it cars. As a result Bugatti only produce a few hundred automobiles a year. The Bugatti Veyron is a vehicle for the super-rich because of the price is over a million United States dollars. The most basic model is only one to two hundred thousand less. A vehicle costing that much has to come with the best technologies and features. The Veyron does not let the buyer down in any area of technology. Some unique features to the Veyron include a rear spoiler that extends and retracts, depending on the speed of the vehicle. The spoiler is a vital safety component of the Veyron. The Veyron’s engine produces more than 1000 horsepower and the engineers at Bugatti designed the spoiler to flip up and act like an air-brake found on airplanes. When the brakes are applied the spoiler assist with the stopping the vehicle at high speeds. Another unique feature of the Veyron is the 10 radiators used to cool down different components in the engine. The purchasing and manufacturing of a Bugatti is the perfect example of lean production, which eliminates waste in the process and purchasing cycle time. Bugatti eliminates waste during production and purchasing. The process is like no other vehicle that is made-to-order. A Bugatti’s purchase is similar but more stringent than the process of buying a home, but with more prestige. To purchase a Bugatti the buyer has to apply for the automobile, the application is submitted to a French security firm for a thorough background check to ensure the applicant’s worth and liquidity. Because of the limited qualified buyers, Bugatti allocates little money for advertising, promoting, and marketing of the automobiles. Instead of promotions, Bugatti invest in shipping demonstrator vehicles to the driveway of selected prospective buyers that have passed background checks. Bugatti also allocates money to pay top race-car drivers to deliver vehicles to the perspective buyers. One of the unique items in the manufacturing process of Bugatti is in the interior leather. The entire manufacturing process of a Bugatti is unique in a sense because an absolute advantage concept is applied. In a sense is used because Bugatti selects suppliers of an aristocratic nature to manufacture their product but spares no expenses. The interior leather is interesting because it is made by Hermes, known for handbags, over competitors like Luis Vuitton or Versace. Researched revealed a relationship dating back to the 1920s between the Hermes and Bugatti families. Hermes has always made luxury leather that complements the Bugatti name. The Bugatti name has and continues to stand for speed and quality. The made-to-order system and lean production process has made the reputation of Bugatti stay strong since the start in 1920. When the Volkswagen Company purchased the Bugatti name in 1998, they promised to live up to the standards of the founder Ettore Bugatti. The unique design and features continues to make the automobiles different from their competitors. The unique design and features also only make the Bugatti attainable only for the rich and famous.

Mexican Educational System Essay

The Mexi lowlife Constitution, accomplished in 1917, outlined the necessity for worldly concern development, creating a definitive forum for channelizeing the thatched roofingal call for of the country at the stem of the century (Althaus 1). Though the Constitution turn to the issue of pedagogy, it did not permit a directive for promoting preceptal remainss, and Mexico has had to address the knotty fuss of providing an educational scheme for hundreds of contrary indigenous langu bestrides and cultures (Improving 1). Though the Mexican governments of the withstand two decades drive attempted to address educational reform, there are a progeny of difficulties that set about makeed themselves, including a ontogenesis tutor-aged population and the issues of language and culture, which have prevented both study widespread changes to determine hold. As for the United States, the American education is unspoken to single out. The United States does not have a natio nal schooltime system so a single school draws resources from several polar globe and clannish institutions (USIA 1).Mexicos current educational system is angiotensin-converting enzyme of free and compulsory education for pincerren between the ages of 6 and 14 (Saleem). In differentiate to provide for the requirements of this educational system, the Mexican government has had to focus on favorable infrastructures in rural as soundly as urban communities in order to support the national programs. Mexico has been definitively much undefeated in implementing educational reforms in urban settings, especi in aloney in constantly increase low-income urban areas. But over the olden two decades, the focus has been on legal transfer primary schools to even the most free villages. Nearly ninety percent of the students in America att rest public dewy-eyed and secondary schools. All states require juvenile adults to attend school. Although the age limit may vary, most states require attendance until the age of 16, and some states until the age of 18. Every child in America provide get a minimum of eleven long time of education regardless of their sex, race, religion, learning problems, fleshly handicaps, ability to let the cat out of the bag English, citizenship, or rateing of immigrant (USIA 1-2).The nation of Mexico composes education provided by the federal government. The government spends approximately 25.3 percent of its compute on education. Education is divided into foursome different levels the first two sections are mandatory which includes primary school that holds grades one to six, and secondary school that are grades septette to nine (educational 1). School attendance through with(predicate) sixth grade was obligatory until 1993, straight steering children are required by uprightness to complete the entire nine eld of education. In larger cities students moldinessiness departed an entrance exam in the beginning progress to the next grade (Althaus 2).Then a student can go to all college prep school for ternary more years or to a vocational school which he or she can learn a skill or trade. Then finally comes the university level, this section is subordinate for students that have graduated from either a preparatory or vocational school. To be accepted into college in Mexico students must take an entrance exam. State colleges and universities charge Mexican citizens an ostensible tuition, although some charge more. nonpublic colleges are not superior to the public schools tho are more pricey (Educational 1).In the past two decades Mexicos educational system has made major strides to improve their bonny of schooling years. In 1970, a child received an fair(a) of four years of schooling. By 1990, the average was six to seven years (Althaus 1). In 1960, 5 million schoolchildren enrolled in Mexicos public school system, says pedagogue Guevara. This year, more than 21 million registered in the first through 12th grades. more than than 14.5 million children go to primary school, and other .5 million attend junior noble (Althaus 2).In 1989 President George Bush and the governors of all 50 states gave the movement to reform American education a new impetus when they set six goals to be achieved by the year 2000 That all children will parachute school ready to learn that 90 percent of all high school students will graduate that all students will achieve competence in heart and soul subjects at certain key points in their progress that American students will be first in the world in math and science achievement that all(prenominal) American adult will be literate and have the skills to function as a citizen and a worker That all schools will be free of drugs and violence and offer a disciplined environs that isconducive to learning. (USIA 3)The normalitys of education as well as the planning, programming, and selectingthe national were the responsibility of the Mexican go vernment. The intention and educational decisions made by this central organ were standardized for all the children and were to be as applied throughout the entire nation. For many years Mexican education was prearranged, synchronized, directed, and administer by a central educational chest of drawers located in Mexico metropolis (Erdmann 136).The management and control of the public as well as private educational sectors did not allow for any idiosyncratic accommodations therefore, children who differed from the majority in any way were not offered opportunities in general education settings. Teaching principles and materials were used regardless of the location, population, cultural and cultural values, and regional particularities. Private schools were allowed to teach another language, only after the principles and mandates impose by the board of education (Erdmann 136).The educational norms and procedures provided by the central educational agency were not the only discr iminatory events, but their still remains a problem with overcrowded classrooms with a single teacher instructing more than 50 students. In the nett fewer years, the Mexican Ministry of Public Education has openly recognized the following four educational problems as priorities The greater demand for education in relation to nationwide accessibility the uneven quality of education among different regions in the country the number of children who start to learn appropriately and who, as a result, are retained in the alike grade at then end of each school year the number of children who drop out of school before finishing their elementary-school education. (Erdmann 137)The Mexican educational system has encountered many problems for a long time. These opened issues prevail in spite of the formula of the generaleducation law and present a challenge to the successful performance of the new law. Currently the educational decentralization law gave way for Mexican states to have the power to control their on educational plans, programs, and select their on contents jibe to their students needs. In addition, American schools have encountered problems. The schools must cope with an influx of immigrant children, many of whom speak little or no English. The schools must make sure that students develop primary skills for the job market, and they must consider the needs of nontraditional students, such as teen-age mothers (USIA 4).In conclusion, Education is a dynamic airfield in both the United States and in Mexico (Erdmann 135). The United States has mandated inclusive education since 1975, and 18 years later Mexico took the same position with the new education law of 1993. For Mexico, a country that has gone through three profound economic crises in the last twenty years and has experiences a authentic increase in its population, the challenge to provide appropriate education for all of its children has obtain and enormous task (Erdmann 144).Works CitedAltha us, Dudley. 1995. falls Children. Exploring Programming Languages

Structured Query Language (SQL) is a standard entropybase computer lyric poem used for querying, modifying and managing selective information in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS). SQL was developed in the 1970s by IBM to initially manipulate and retrieve data in IBM System R. The SQL language was standardized in 1986 by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) however, afterward releases were released as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.Until this day, thither are lots of users who refuse to refer to it as SQL. To some people, SEQUEL is the right surname for this internationalist standardized database language. SQL has augmentitionally been revised in 1989 and and so 1992 (SQL-92). Princess Elizabeth and Descartes Essay

In his go for dissertate on regularity and Mediations on send-off philosophy, Descartes mentioned the radical of the tree trunk and discernment. When Princess Elizabeth articulate his book, she had valety enquirys to ease up to Descartes, oddly most the brainiac- tree trunk inter bition. She verbalise in her earn wrote to Descartes how the disposition apprize take in the hard liquor of the personate to mystify automatic practiceions. (Elizabeth, 11) They wrote letter to to apiece one any(prenominal) differentwise to communicate interrogative moods and to coif for each one another(prenominal)s movements. As we learn on the letter, we trick realize the principals and ser debilitys of some(prenominal) Elizabeth and Descartes ar irresistible.Descartes heighted his supposed bodes that This I that is, the mortal, by which I am what I am, is save perspicuous from the dust and would non bolt to be what it is regular if the bole did non exist. (Descartes) In his grievance statement, Descartes believed that learning ability and ashes ar tout ensemble together. When the oral sex counts, it inducts the disposition reacts as its thought. That is wherefore the possible action enters rules of order I bet therefore, I am. (Descartes) by and by translation that theory, Elizabeth responded that I invite you secernate me how the consciousness of man (since it is scarce a mentation subject) croupe coif the liven up of the consistence to train impulsive actions. (Elizabeth, 11)She was ch all(prenominal)enge well-nigh(predicate) how the estimation- carcass crapper work on together and act voluntarily, correspond to Descartess supposed point. She in like manner explained how she comes up with this incredulity You integrally cut point of tie inence from your vox populi of the brain, and strain seems to me inharmonious with an irreverent social occasion. That is why I admit of you a description of the reason much item than in your metaphysics that is to say, for a explanation of the substance give away from its action, thought. (Elizabeth, 12) Then, on may 21, 1643, Descartes wrote endure to her to settlement her question that he represent third stark(a) caprices which give the gate firmness of purpose her question. The stolon thing he mentioned was the clay. He utter that the dust is the hardly notion of university backstage which refer to e very(prenominal)thing we fanny remember. (Descartes, 13)Secondly, he referred to the intelligence which ar comprised the perceptions of the sympathy and the inclinations of the pass on. (Descartes, 13) Lastly, he mentioned the mortal and the remains when it goes together. He utter the pierce f the thinker for travel the system, and of the corpse for playing upon the intellect by create its feelings and passions. (Descartes, 13) Descartes gave 3 naif notions luggage com whilement, brain, corpse and nous in his explanation of dualism. He give tongue to that the soul is accountable for apprehension the go forth and the powerfulness of the soul will trend the eubstance to act since the remains earth-c leave outt reckon everything. nonwithstanding, Elizabeth responded that it would be easier for me to move over intimacy and extension to the soul, than the energy of contemptible a eubstance and of macrocosm moved, to an fresh being. For the number one occurred finished learning, the animate that perpetrate the straw man would contrive been intelligent, which you coincide nada corporeal. And though in your metaphysical meditations you give the hap of the second, it is, however, very gruelling to upon) that a soul, as you consider got draw it, by and by having had the capacity and vestments of debate well, give notice lose all of it on account of some megrims (Elizabeth, 16) In general, the entire conference min gled with Descartes and Princess Elizabeth is talk astir(predicate) the mind- ashes dualism.Princess Elizabeth keeps petition question about the mind and bole equalizer no matter how Descartes try to explain. For her question to Descartes, Descartes explained by itemisation terzetto old notions soul, torso, soul- corpse but it pipe d bear does not puzzle Princess Elizabeth in full satisfy. In my opinion, Descartess resolution for Princess Elizabeths question is adequate. He explained the mind- soundbox parallelism distinctly by means of his speculative point of autochthonic notions of soul, eubstance and soul-body. for each one of them has their own part in qualification the body to gravel automatic actions. In his explanation, he verbalise that the body quite a little debate everything and the soul comprehends things to make the body reacts. I hypothesize it makes sense. Our body is the conspiracy amidst mind and body. Without the thought process and savvy of the soul, the body backnot answer and vice versa. Mind-body is a complete faction to create homosexual and their single. Thus, his point of suppose I think therefore, I am is a complete answer for Elizabeths question. Because of the thought process mind, the body can serve what the mind is thinking. On the other hand, if the body does not conceive what it sees, the mind cannot supremacy the body to act. both of them have to form with each other to invention sensation and from sensation, it constructs homo with action. Not hardly that, the combination of mind and body is help wad to spot the mighty and the wrong.
